I’m 28 and overweight:)I have just over 2 years until my 30ths birthday {on 10.27.2011} and this is my adventure in trying to lose 100lbs by that birthday. My bigger plan is to literally lose half of my body weight, but 100lbs would be just about 1lb. per week from now until then, so it’s a bit more realistic.
I’m starting this blog to create a place to make myself more accountable and to keep myself motivated and positive along the way. I’ve been doing going to Weight Watchers for a few months now. I haven’t really been following it, even though I know it works, but I keep going because I have the most unbelievable meeting and Leader at the meeting and she keeps me going back for a dose of healthy weekly.
I have not always been overweight. I was always healthy as a kid and through high school. When I left for college and started feeding myself, I started gaining weight slowly and basically haven’y stopped in 10 years. I’ve had a few brief periods of short-term loss, but the general trend has been steadily increasing since I was 18.

-The times of the year between seasons when the weather is mild

-potatoes (I could seriously live on them)
-a hot cup of tea with milk and honey
-lists for anything and everything
